Had an excellent stay for one night. The breakfast was really tasty and exceptional, a huge variety of food. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and tea and coffee making equipment, and a writing desk inside the room. The staff were polite and courteous and always had a smile. The location was amazing - not far from a fantastic new looking stylish establishment, centre of the village, and Derbyshire.

This hotel is a lovely place for a weekend in Castleton. The small double room is compact and recently renovated. The setting is excellent and incredible, near to the pleasant and helpful nature of all the staff, the first cave and Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn in Castleton. There's lively authentic bar with warm beverages. Suits for one night, can't help but recommend.
There is stain in some places.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Christmas turkey dinner. The portion sizes were generous and really satisfied our appetites. the location was perfect, nestled in the heart of the beautiful countryside and close to some great hiking trails. We had a wonderful time exploring the area.
There were a few minor issues during our stay. we had to wait in line for drinks to check in, which was a bit inconvenient.
